Supporting Pride and Running Strong!
This Pride month, Lively is proudly supporting our awesome Associate Programmer, Hollie Page who is organising a wholesome fundraiser for the UK charity, Mermaids!
Since 1995, Mermaids has been uplifting trans, non-binary, and gender-questioning children, creating safe spaces, and fostering their courage to live authentically.
We aimed for 100km, but our team has already smashed past that goal and set a new target of 200km!
Associate Programmer, Hollie:
'I'm very lucky to have lots of colleagues who are joining me in raising money for Mermaids and supporting a fantastic cause. It's lovely to see so many of us showing our support for the trans community, especially during such a difficult time in the UK where transphobia is rising and life-saving healthcare is increasingly difficult to access.
Studio Lead Game Director, Elizabeth:
I have a lot of trans people in my friends and family, including my youngest kid. I love that I work in a place that supports us in supporting such a vital charity!
